TZUYU has not renewed with JYP Entertainment but will continue group activities with TWICE

Just gotta be glad that she's still a part of Twice and this isn't actual disbandment or "losing a member" news, at least. And let's hope the same goes for the other eight if some of them decide similarly. Twice is still a full 9-member group, yall! Don't get the news twisted (like I see with some of the comments here already). Sure things might slowdown for group activities as the different agencies now gotta balance things, but I'd rather they find happiness with their solo careers in other places and still come together as OT9 maybe once a year for a comeback, than to stagnate and resent things while waiting for their opportunities which could lead to them actually leaving. Will support Tzuyu where she goes next, and am super glad Twice is still together! Edit: Update from JYPE is that this article was put out without confirming with JYPE, and that contract negotiations are still happening Lmao. We panicked for nothing. Could still happen, sure, but I hate k-media. Let's hope the negotiations go well. Everything I said still applies if Tzuyu and whoever do end up leaving but hopefully stay with Twice.

We Onces have always been very spoiled as a fandom for the amount of content we've gotten. This seems to be the end of constant OT9 content. Time for Twice will probably be without Tzuyu. Twice has lasted longer and produced more content that I hoped for. But it's still a shock.

End of constant content, but slower releases of content is still way preferred over no content! I'm confident things like TTT and 2wice dates will still happen. Idols with solo contracts in other agencies still often mete out time to do collaborative content activities with their groups.

You know the funny thing is before today, I'd have told you its better for groups to officially go out with a bang like Sistar did than live on limbo forever. But now? I'm realizing I'd prefer that sliver of hope than the closure of finality. I don't think I can let Twice go. Sorry, I know I'm being dramatic. We've still got plenty of Twice content and comebacks to go. But I don't have a problem admitting that I'm emotionally invested in this group like no other. It's always a hard thing to realize the best days are behind you.
