The situation
NCT 127 is set to make their comeback on August 24 with their 7th full album, marking their first return as a subunit in over two years. The album will feature five members: Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan. This comeback is also notable for being the group's first since Mark's withdrawal from NCT in April 2026.

What the internet did with it

  • — "I'm lowkey sad that this is the first comeback without Mark, but I trust the remaining members to bring the heat"
  • The fact that Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently serving in the military adds to the significance of this lineup, with fans speculating about the potential sound and concept of the album.
  • Netizens on Theqoo seem generally unbothered by Mark's absence, with some commenting that the group's *눈치 (awareness of the situation and each other's feelings) will be put to the test with this new dynamic.

Either johnny is gonna get 70% more lines or taeyong is getting 50% more lines.

If they back to 2016-2018 with a song with 70-80%rap and 20%vocal. I doubt if Johnny,Taeyong has full line rap and Jaehyun, Haechan full vocal and Yuta least line

Or they reduce the amount of raps in the song and utilize their vocalists more.
