Since she mentioned she's working on her debut, it doesn't seem like passion problem. She likely disagreed with creative direction of the group. Wish her and the group the best.

The first paragraph stood out to me. She was "excited" by the presented vision that they were gonna work towards. It sounds to me, the vision has changed and she's not on board with the new one.

You can see the vision change from when the 3 girls were announced (how they were presented, how they were dressed when they attended events) to when the show started airing and up till when it ended and Sakura was announced as the winner. Literally from the intro film to the “Party b4 the party” final song with the 4 girls, it’s night and day.

It's insane.. the existing members had to adapt to the 4th/last/final member style than the other way around. They should have tried finding someone that would fit into the existing line up

I think that’s exactly what they initially set out to do. There were so many girls in the beginning of World Scout that fit what we assume is the original vision, but almost all of them were eliminated before they went to LA. For whatever reason Son and HYBE became laser focused on Sakura and after that everything else went out the window. World Scout was a strange project all around.

probably bc they added sakura and now their mature vision is watered down. unfortunate :(
