KARD will officially conclude their group activities after the release of their 1st full-length album and upcoming world tour

Sad but at least they get to have a comeback and tour before disbanding. Similar to purple kiss. Really carried the flag for co-ed groups being able to exist. And one of the rare groups to make more mature kpop songs. Sexy banger after sexy banger.

It helped that DSP largely left them alone to interact with fans how they wanted. BM in particular has plenty of unhinged tweets that have never failed to make me laugh and they definitely seemed much more laid back during concerts than the typical group. It was definitely part of their charm for me. Speaking of tweets, I feel Buzzfeed's reading thirst tweets series has a few distinct categories for K-Pop guests - wholesome and deflecting (Eric Nam), innocently wondering what some of the slang is and having to have someone translate it (SEVENTEEN, poor Joshua lol), etc. Then there's BM . Yeah, that tracks. I'll definitely miss a group that was able to be more casual like this while still maintaining professional distance from fans. It can't have been easy.

People like to shit on RBW who, yes, made some mistakes in terms of PurKi’s direction but honestly giving them that last mini album + English mini + tour + a goodbye song Breathe (which is gorgeous) was a really respectful way to send them off

I should be happy that it happened at all and lasted 10 years and not sad that it's over. And that we are getting a proper good-bye. This is the hardest hitting up-coming group end for me so far in 17 yrs.
