The situation
AHOF's latest title track "Run To You" marks a return to form after the divisive "Sugar High", with a brighter and more upbeat sound that still retains the group's signature anthemic rock touches. The song features a catchy, if repetitive, chorus and a breezy arrangement that should play well in the long run. Despite this, some fans and critics feel that the song lacks the personality and dramatic peaks of their previous title tracks.

What the internet did with it

  • — "Sugar High almost made me lost hope on the group, but thankfully the boys still got it" - a sentiment echoed by many fans who were disappointed by the group's previous release.
  • The song's production, handled by frequent collaborator EL CAPITXN, has been praised for its energy and catchiness, but some have noted that it relies too heavily on the word "running" without fully capturing the sense of urgency implied by the title.
  • Netizens on Theqoo and Instiz seem generally unbothered by the song's lack of boldness, with many acknowledging that it's a step up from "Sugar High" even if it doesn't quite reach the heights of "Rendezvous" or "Pinocchio".

The open question
The question remains whether "Run To You" will grow on listeners over time, as some have noted that it lacks the memorable melodies and explosive energy of AHOF's previous title tracks, leaving its long-term impact uncertain.

Oh I like it! Echoing the other comments that say Sugar High wasn’t really my thing but this I really like. El Capitxn and Vendors have become some of my favorite writers/producers (I noticed Sugar High wasn’t made by them). Also, sometimes Hani’s vocal tone sounds so much like Baekhyun’s it blows my mind

I like it! On first listen not as good as their first two title tracks for me but I loved those a lot so they were always going to be a hard bar to clear. I despised the pre-release so very happy the actual title track is this

It's really fun. I like songs that don't sacrifice bridges for TikTok trend. The jump shot and the ending clip with Daisuke was such a cute addition

We’re three for three๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ˜Œ not as yearning as the previous two titles which I love more but this is still beautiful
