Brave Brothers was on a generational run with this, Heart Attack by AOA, and a bunch of others around this time

Great producer, terrible boss. That run was mostly while the remaining 2 members were on hiatus bc he wrecked his own group. A manager drove the original girls while on his phone in the rain. Another time with his foot on the windshield on the highway. Parents called and were told to mind their business, so most the girls left. With BG unpresentable, BS sold beats to make money and make the competition impossibly strong.

He really was. He's at his absolute best doing either A. Hip-hop music, or B. Disgruntled Sexy Woman music lol.

They're now known as BB Girls, Brave Sound wouldn't let them keep their name. Understandable, since the name comes from his own. Still, if he really cared about them them the best he wouldn't make this confusion. The remaining 3 girls talked about practicing 8 hours a day in heels for this on their 10th anniversary livestream . It was one of the most mismanaged groups that people don't know about. A manager drove them on his phone while gaming , which led to 3 of 5 girls leaving. (Yejin who recorded it also had to perform in a neck brace .) This led to the 3 year hiatus for Hyeran and Yoojin. They couldn't really be a group since Brave ofc didn't want to say why members left; he didn't reveal it till new members were about to debut. This is a big reason he made hit after hit for competing groups that built AOA + Hello Venus. Which is why the redebut of Brave Girls in 2016 didn't work and quickly needed crowdfunding . This untold pain is part of why Hyeran wanted to die during those times, as she revealed 2 years ago . It might also have to do with her being fatshamed by the boss on TV . It's a fun song, but the story of the girls deserves to be heard. Real empowerment, not just in the lyrics written by the boss who cares little about it.

Still wildly in love with High Heels and this mini album in general. Probably one of my favorite album covers in K-pop.
