As much as I love Taeyeon's vocals, the adaptation did not do justice for the original. Maybe I am just too familiar with the Jpop version, but Tuki's deep voice and smooth lyrics made the song flow like a warm coffee.

It felt weird at first since I'm so familiar with the original but now that I've listened to it a few times and gotten used to the new flow I really like it

I quite like it, but I’m obviously a fan. It’s a different take and the MV accompanies it well. My one gripe is that the chorus seems a little packed in syllables. The song itself fits right in with one of her earlier projects (maybe the ‘I’ mini album), so perhaps that’s why I have no issue missing Tuki in the track.

I really love this song and played it nonstop last year. That being said, Taeyeon is my all time favorite so I’m obviously biased. I really like how her version was somehow different but still so good at the same time. The instrumental was also slightly different which helped it feel heartfelt in a different way, especially the last part. It’s got Taeyeon’s signature light and airy start that ends with an emotional burst, which is what made me love her ballads especially Time Lapse. I do agree with the amount of syllables in the chorus but I guess they tried their best to preserve the meaning of the song.

You're in the minority. People seem to love it. I thought it was a really well done version.
